Working in venture capital, Caitlin has helped establish the largest and most active portfolio of early stage startups in Australia (Artesian Venture Partners), which is exceeding industry benchmarks and anticipated returns.
In 2018, Caitlin established a new venture firm and $50M fund (Capital xx) focussed on maximising investor returns by investing in female founders (who deliver significantly higher returns: revenue +12%, ROI +35%, valuation +64%) across Australia, Asia and USA.
Recognised as 1 of Australia’s Top 25 fintech influencers, in 2018 Caitlin helped drive the pivot and scale of a fintech from Australia into the USA.
Caitlin is an experienced country Head for corporations (+USD $20B). Caitlin lead an Australian business for Staples (multinational office supply retailing corporation) which, at the time, was one of the world’s top 3 Etailers. She is also experienced creating and delivering innovation solutions for organisations like GE. Today, Caitlin advises enterprise on how to collaborate, capitalise and thrive on the disruption that startups and the new economy provide.
Caitlin is a serial entrepreneur and has established companies in Australia, the UAE and Europe, across a diverse range of industries; fashion, property and water infrastructure. Caitlin continues to advise / invest (as an angel) startups helping them to scale (primarily into USA / China). Caitlin is predominantly based in Shanghai and focussed on products / tech that solve real problems, have the potential to create a measurably better world and satisfy the needs / opportunities that China's 5 year strategic plan represents.
